Benjamin Murray is a Mi’gmaq musician from Thunder Bay. He’s been a musician for the last decade and recently produced a short film called Dying in Vein. For the last five years, he has been teaching music and creative arts to youth in remote communities throughout Northern Ontario. In 2016, he formed Earthling Art Collective, a grassroots organization aimed at empowering youth across turtle island through the power of creativity and manifestation coupled with solid mentorship/guidance and the technology and equipment to make dreams a reality.

Murray plans to develop a multimedia studio in the Thunder Bay area to expand the workshop program and provide a space for teens and young adults to develop their own projects. In 2018, Murray was awarded the Respect Award by the City of Thunder Bay in recognition of his work toward raising awareness of racism and promoting diversity in the region.
